This is a wonderful book of hope. I believe it has spiritual meaning of new birth and regeneration and the goodness of others if we look for it. The narrator, Karen Savage, really brings the story and characters to life. I now plan on seeing the movie.

The two versions here of this lovely book are read by A+ readers (Kara Shallenberg & Karen Savage). Books w/one talented reader throughout makes listening a joy! :)

Well, the book itself is great, but the way it was read, it was just awesome! I loved this girl, the way she sang and even bleated, it was very nice of her. Thanks a million!

This is such a great, uplifting, and heart warming novel. I could not stop smiling. Karen Savage was the perfect narrator. Her voice was charming in itself. She did wonderful accents for each character; truly giving them life and their own identity. Well done. Can't wait to start Frances Hodgson Burnett's The Little Princess soon. Karen Savage narrates again.

Loved this story so much! I'm a gardener myself and everytime I heard a chapter I'd find myself feeling the need of going out to work and enjoy my own garden! Wish there were more stories as inspiring and magical as this one.

The reader was wonderful! The reader can make the book or make it not worth listening to. Loved the accent.

This is, of course, a beloved and magical story. Karen Savage has an extraordinary talent for reading - Truly a lovely accomplishment - varying her pitch for different characters and doing the broad Yorkshire accent justice. What a diversion to enjoy while recuperating from a head and chest cold.

The book was life-changing and teaching beautiful life lessons in such a desirable and positive way. I listened to this one while sick in bed with pneumonia, and I think it was perfectly what I needed. The reader was incredibly talented. Spoke differently for each character's voice and even switched accents within dialogues. It made me forget that it was only one reader and not an entire dramatization. Excellent job.

It's a good kids story with a great moral! I loved listening to this book, and even though it's a kids book I feel that you don't have to be a kid just to enjoy this book

The Secret Garden was just as magical and breath-taking as I remembered it from when I read it as a child. The narrator does a superb job of bringing each character to life with different voices and personalities. It pained me to have to pause the story to do my daily tasks. I am so wrapped up in the magic of it all, I plan to listen again and again! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. You will never take the Springtime for granted again.
