What a tale! To me the story represents beautifully the profound difference between an upbringing of kindness and love - and one of cruelty and abuse - brilliantly told by Mr. London through the eyes of the Wolf!!!

I have read this book multiple times and it is still a riveting page-turner. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys tales of adventure and overcoming obstacles, especially if you liked his book "Call of the Wild" (if you havent read that book i suggest it as well)

One of my many favourite books, including "Call of the Wild", about the hardships of a dog's life seen through the eyes of a dog, a dog that had the will and the tenacity to survive and become independent.
