Aliens want to make peaceful contact with the human race, so they decide to go to the centre of culture on Earth: Hollywood! And in order to succeed in Hollywood, you need a good agent... I read this story because I loved this author's "Old man's war", and I wasn't disappointed. Excellent story, great characters, good plot, funny dialogue.

I have never been probed by aliens and suspicious of those who say they have. I still enjoyed the space journey that gives us some hope that our human frailties might yet be overcome by our potential for empathy and kindness.

Not really into sci fi. This book just confirmed it.

Normally spelling errors bug me. This book was good enough that they didn't bother me.

Wow! The author dished harsh and civil rebukes on humanity through the eyes of an alien. Not only a good read, but also a cause for reflection.

Outstanding book, read in two days, a couple of spelling errors is all I can say that was wrong with this story. It opened a different portal in my mind - being the first sci-fi book I have ever read and its FREE!

I was pleasantly suprised. The plot was very good, well written, intriguing, and can't wait for John's next book!

Unusual idea of alien contact. A little predictable in several places.

I loved this book because of its humor and originality. It poses an intriguing question: what could a highly unattractive alien visiter do to improve his image? Unlike much sic-fi written decades ago, this story is not dated but fresh and very funny.
