In Alice in Wonderland Lewis Carroll took the well known and the exotic and combined them in the greatest tale of the absurd that has ever been written. The best measure of the the story is that the English language is littered with words, expressions, phrases and references to characters from Alice. Harry Potter be damned, read it aloud to your children for their fun and your pleasure.
