Love this book!!!

The first time I read "Tom Sawyer" written vy Mark Twain, was for areading assignment when I was in the eighth grade. I had heard a group of boys in my class say that they were going. To pick the book withthe least amount of pages to read so in absolutely no way, shape or form whatsoever, were they going anywhere near "Tom Sawyer." Being that it was the biggest book to read was the reason, at first, as to why I wanted to read it. However, as I was reading it, I found myself truly enjoying the story of of the young, hardly educated boy getting through life by his wit. I've loved history ever since I started learning it in school and the way he decribed the era Tom Sawyer lived in so vividly that you really felt that you lived during that time yourself. You also really could sense the southern charm really well because of the wayauthor Mark Twain incorporated it into the book. When all was said and done, I was the only one to pick "Tom "Sawyer" to read for that reading assignment back when I was in eighth grade and I was the first one to finish his or her book in my class. Now, I very much look forward to reading it again. This is how much that this book deserves the five-star rating that I gave it.

I think this book is OK but most kids wont get it because of its level of comprehension like im in the ages 10-13 i can read most of it but cant comprehend all. Other than thats its an awesome book especially the part where tom tricks the other characters of whitewashing the fence and earning stuff.

I have finally taken the time to read this classic. I wonder why I took so long? Mark Twain's view of the Christian Church is superb! I dropped 45 years off my age and went back to playing with my mates. Wonderful!

Waited till I'm over 50 yrs old to go back and start re-reading some of the Classics. This was my first and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This book should have a movie. I mean they have the play.

Great book and a nice story

I love this book, though i am still reading it. I always wanted to read it! To think my mom would of bought me it, I got this for free! Yup, I am still a kid. But I ❤ reading. I think that is how I got in XL-ELA. I have to do 20 paragraphs about classical books, my ELA teacher recommended this app. 20 paragraphs may not seem like a lot, but I done it 3 times, I have to do it again, and I am only 11❕❕
