Een jaar in de Molukken is the Indonesian travel book written by H. R. Roelfsema. The purpose of my trip was, briefly, to investigate the suitability of already applied concession sites on Halmaheira and surrounding islands for the culture of bangers and, if possible, establish an enterprise for such a culture on an animal ground. A planter of experience, who had left Holland two weeks earlier, would assist me there. In Java we met and we had together accepted the trip to the Moluccas.
