L'effrayante aventure

L'effrayante aventure is a monster fiction novel in French written by Jules Lermina, a French writer.  The English translation of this novel is titled as The Scary Adventure.

We are at the beginning of the 20th century. The discovery of a body in the centre of Paris poses a problem for the police: who is it and how did it get there? A British police officer passing through Paris believes he recognizes the victim.
