O Marquez de Pombal á luz da Philosophia is a Portuguese poem written by Angelina Vidal,  a journalist, translator, teacher, olysipographer and writer . She was considered one of the most pertinent figures in the struggle for the rights of the poorest. Equally noteworthy is its activism for women's rights , in tandem with the republican and socialist ideology.
